About The Team
Learn About The Team Behind Zen Web Services
The two creative minds and passionate hearts behind Zen Web Services belong to Scott and Andrea. From Scotland and Bavaria respectively, the two of them met on their travels in Thailand – and instantly recognised the nerd in one another. Within weeks they worked on their first website project together and have been friends ever since.
Scott has always been a tech geek. He has worked with computers, programming & developing websites, for over two and a half decades. He’s most comfortable in front of a screen, solving tech problems, tweaking & optimising one of the Zen projects, learning a new coding language or mastering the latest software.
Andrea’s first love has been writing and story telling which led her into journalism, copy writing, and from there to Search Engine Optimisation (on-page SEO). She’s found an outlet for her very visual creativity in photography before she discovered her passion for web design in her late 20s.
While collaborating on a few different occasions, Scott and Andrea realised how they inspired one another in their work and how well their way of thinking and approaching web projects as well as their skill sets complemented each other. They decided to become business partners and created Zen Web Services.
Andrea and Scott both identify as multipotentialites. When they’re not on their computers or out on a photoshoot, you can find them recharging in nature – walking, camping, or swimming, reading the latest literature on personal development and alternative healing modalities, practicing various mindfulness techniques, discussing tech, life & conspiracy theories.
